Elderberry Syrup

You can add this syrup to tea or other beverages for a boost to the immune system and to help with stress and inflammation.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Fresh Elderberries
  • 4 cup Water
  • 1 cup Honey

Instructions
 

  1. Add water and elderberries to a saucepan. Bring the combination to a boil, and then reduce the heat to a simmer.
  2. Continue to heat until the mixture has been reduced by half of its original volume. Take the mixture off the heat and strain it to remove the elderberries. Return the liquid, roughly two cups, and the honey to the saucepan and heat until the water and honey combine.
  3. Remove the mixture from the heat, allowing it to reach room temperature. Store in a bottle and refrigerate.
