They ARE ugly but SO COMFORTABLE!

While my husband loves his black Crocs, as do most men and women I see wearing this brand, I chose the “Daffy Duck” yellow! At 45 I gladly do rounds in my hospital system, wearing these with my pink scrubs…drawing lots of laughter AND questions! You bet, Alegria shoes were originally designed and enjoyed by Nurses (I guess we docs needed more time to “learn” of their benefits), they have risen to be among the top healthy, fashionable shoes. My husband found his feet had “shifted” during the work-from-home-mandate, with slippers becoming his go-to. His narrow feet spread. While Croc sizing fit his usual size, I am finding that many report, like I do, that they require a slightly smaller size. And these shoes tend, at least from patient reports, to run a bit wider than their usual “fit,” with a larger toe box size. Yet I have heard NO complaints, except that most tend to choose darker colors because…well…”they stick out!”

They don’t have arch support but aren’t completely flat either, they also form to your feet and don’t slide of easy either. I’ve had my black and blue pair for two years now and just bought the white. They can easily be thrown in the wash if you want to, but they wipe down clean too. I only wish they can in a tan neutral color as well.”

“I’m on my 2nd pair. The first lasted me 3 years, which is a record for a pair of flip flops worn every day in the summer. The best part about crocs is they never get smelly or start looking gross.
I found them to be very comfortable, but I wouldn’t wear them to walk miles in. You also have to be careful to not leave them laying in the sun (or in a car) because they can shrink. Don’t worry, they don’t shrink if you’re wearing them.
On my 2nd pair, I had to order a size larger than I normally do for sandals.”

Literally Don’t Think, Just Buy Them. lol
“I went through so many different brands of this same shoe style because I wanted dark brown and it was gonna take a while to ship. I landed on this one and people were saying that it was like walking on a cloud and it’s literally the PERFECT example. It’s like having a cushy yoga mat under your feet…but every step.
I’m in my mid-twenties and I’ve got degenerative disc disease and sciatica down both legs. These things are AMAZING.
Honestly I would recommend getting one pair for home and one pair to wear outside/in town. I’m sure their life-span would be similar to the bottoms of Crocs but they do seem pretty soft?
I’m definitely going to get a second pair just to ensure though. They’re so nicely priced that I would say it’s super worth it.
As far as sizing goes, it seems like a few people were saying they’re oversized? I’m very consistently a 9 and bought the size 9 in these and they fit me well. Of course i feel like slides move with you just a little, but they have these thick bumpers around the whole shoe to keep you in. I think that’s why they look so big too.

My Feet Are Rejoicing
“I wanted some house slippers that could provide me some relief when bustling around the house doing chores, and especially standing for long periods of time in the kitchen preparing meals. I had gotten fuzzy “comfy” slippers before, but they have no support, the fabric gets grimy, and aren’t a good investment.
But when I bought these. Oh Lord.
My arches sang to the heavens.
My heels cried tears of joy.
The balls of my feet started applauding and have not stopped since.
Seriously, these are stupid comfortable. I can stand for hours with no pain. They don’t lose their integrity over time and mold to whatever your foot shape is, like a memory foam mattress. I will agree with the other reviews that the color is a bit off. I ended up getting the olive green and it turned out to be more of a booger color. I honestly can’t be mad though, I’d wear them to the ends of the earth and into battle no matter how gross the color is. I will also agree with the other comments recommending the sizing shift.
Stop wondering when your feet are going to be happy around the house again. The solution is right here. Just buy them.”
Best Slippers I Have Ever Owned!
“Bought these as I needed some slippers just for the house. I have bought all kinds from $100 name brand to $3 Walmart ones. Got these after a lot of research and damn did it prove me right. After 3 minutes I got addicted. The slippers are sooo nice and soft like walking on clouds. It gets good traction at slippery waterpark floors. The slippers dont chafe my feet when I don’t wear socks. To wash them I hit them with the hose or take them in the shower with me and clean them. They have only ONE big DOWNFALL and that’s that I NEVER want to take them off. Oh god I find myself wearing them everywhere. The grocery store BAM SLIPPERS, go out to dinner BAM SLIPPERS, take out the trash BAM SLIPPERS, headed to the park for a picnic BAM SLIPPERS, I think you get the idea here. I got them and let my girlfriend attempt to waddle around in them and she got hooked. Got her a pair. My friend and I went swimming and he didn’t want to burn his feet sooooo let’s say it together now … BAM SLIPPERS. Now he got a pair with his girlfriend. In conclusion these slippers are the best and so comfortable. Although be weary, you can get yourself and others hooked on these slippers pretty easily. Buy at your own risk.”
